Dr. James Fontaine is a board-certified physician in San Diego specializing in anti-aging, aesthetics, and preventive medicine, including the latest treatments for degenerative joints and soft tissue injuries. His practice is located in the Torrey Hills community of Carmel Valley in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Fontaine is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA and brings two decades of clinical experience and diverse background in medicine to help patients age with optimal health and grace.
To that end, he provides the most advanced anti-aging treatments, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for men and women.

He was raised in Southern California. He is an avid mountain biker and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with his wife, Julie, as well as spending time with his sons and extended family in San Diego.
Louise Bisby, RN, does magic w fillers--she's truly an artist! Patient, caring, and very skilled. I followed her from one place to the other because I love the natural, flattering work she accomplishes w fillers (the use of which is far less drastic than plastic surgery to give ur face a lift). Louise is also a pleasure to know; she is not only a skilled practitioner to me but a friend!
I am so happy w Fontaine, MD, primarily because of Louise Bisby, RN. I have followed her from place to place for several reasons: she is an artist w filler work; what she does always looks natural and is decidedly flattering. She is also a lovely, kind, and attentive person who genuinely cares for and about her clients. I would recommend her over anyone else if you want a more refreshed and youthful appearance using fillers!

RN Sarah Morin is amazing. She provided a great skin care regimen with IPL Facials for me. She followed up with texts to check on how my skin was reacting to treatments and truly cared about my experience. Rather than just running people through the schedule , Sarah truly took time to develop a stellar customer relationship which makes me feel like we can continue to work together over a long period of time (something that I don't feel is the norm anymore).
